Our ProgrammesI

Primary Years Programme
The International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) is designed for students aged 6 to 12 and focuses on developing curious, reflective and internationally minded learners. Through an inquiry-based and transdisciplinary approach, students are encouraged to think independently, take ownership of their learning and connect classroom knowledge with real-world contexts.
Introduced in 1997, the PYP forms the foundation of the IB continuum, which also includes the Middle Years Programme (MYP), Diploma Programme (DP) and Career-related Programme (CP). At Learning Alliance International, the PYP begins in Class I, providing students with a strong academic and conceptual foundation for future learning.
PYP Themes:

Key strengths:
- Inquiry-based learning
- Real-world connections
- Independent thinking
- Social, emotional, and academic growth
In PYP V, students complete the PYP Exhibition, a collaborative inquiry project that showcases the research skills, critical thinking and understanding they have developed throughout the programme.
Overall, the PYP supports students’ holistic development across academic, social and emotional areas while fostering independence, empathy and a lifelong passion for learning.

Middle Years Programme
The International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP), introduced in 1994, is a comprehensive, inquiry-based curriculum for students aged 12–16. Implemented globally in over 1,350 schools across 108 countries, the MYP fosters academic excellence, interdisciplinary understanding, and responsible global citizenship.
The programme develops key skills through Approaches to Learning (ATL), explores big ideas through key and related concepts, and situates learning within global contexts, enabling students to connect classroom knowledge to real-world challenges.
Subject Groups

Key strengths:
- Active Learning
- Intellectual Confidence
- Reflective Thinking
- Community Engagement
- Global Mindset
A key feature of the MYP is the Personal Project, an independent inquiry completed in the final year. It enables students to explore an area of personal interest while developing essential research, critical thinking, reflection and practical skills.
In MYP V, students also complete the IB MYP eAssessments, which includes on screen examinations, ePortfolios and external moderation of the Personal Project. This rigorous assessment process evaluates students against internationally recognised IB standards and may lead to the award of the IB MYP Certificate.
The MYP develops confident, independent learners who are prepared to progress to the Diploma Programme or Career related Programme, contribute responsibly to society and respond thoughtfully to a rapidly changing world.

Diploma Programme
The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (DP), established in the 1960s, is a globally recognized qualification for students aged 16–19. Renowned for its academic rigor and holistic approach, the DP prepares learners for higher education and equips them with the intellectual, emotional, and ethical skills to succeed in an increasingly complex world.
The programme combines six subject groups with a core curriculum that emphasizes research, critical thinking, and community engagement, fostering both breadth and depth of knowledge while encouraging reflection on the nature of learning.

Key strengths:
- Academic Excellence
- Leadership Development
- Critical Thinking
- Research Skills
- Global Perspective
- University Preparation
The DP offers a rigorous and well-rounded curriculum that promotes academic excellence, independent thinking and preparation for higher education. Its balanced assessment model combines internally assessed coursework with externally assessed examinations, reducing reliance on a single examination.

Career-related Programme
Building on the strong foundations of our IB Continuum School offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP), Learning Alliance International is proud to announce that we have officially received authorization for the IB Career-related Programme (CP).
This important milestone reflects our continued commitment to expanding meaningful and future focused learning pathways for our students.
As an established IB World School, Learning Alliance International shares the International Baccalaureate’s core philosophy of providing high quality, challenging, and internationally minded education. We believe this approach prepares students not only for academic success but also equips them with the critical thinking, adaptability, and global perspective needed to thrive in an increasingly complex world.

Key strengths:
- Career-Focused
- Skills-Driven
- Future-Ready
- Practical Learning
- Industry-Aligned
- Real-World Experience
The IB Career-related Programme offers a distinctive pathway that combines academic study with career-related learning, enabling students to develop practical and professional skills alongside their IB courses. Students can explore areas aligned with their interests and aspirations while benefiting from the academic rigour of the IB framework, preparing them for both higher education and meaningful careers.
Through a balance of academic learning, personal development and real-world application, the CP develops critical thinking, communication, adaptability and international mindedness. It empowers students to make informed choices about their futures and equips them with the knowledge, confidence and skills required to succeed in an evolving global landscape.
