PYP V Exhibition 2023
At the end of five years of the IB Primary Years Program, learners get the opportunity to showcase their acquired skills and understanding about real life issues. This allows students to explore, document and share their passions as well as reflect on their learning through personal inquiries, presentation skills and assessment covering a vast range of global context topics. Students synthesize and apply their learning to take action for a positive change within the community and the wider world.
The PYP class of 2023 worked on a variety of topics ranging from Sustainability and Climate Change, Discrimination against minorities in Pakistan, Earthquakes, Lack of Education, Environment, Discrimination against different groups at Workplaces, Sustainable Fashion, Discrimination against Minorities in Pakistan, Super Powers of the World, Impact of Technology on Child Creativity, Zero Hunger, Deep Sea Mining, Asteroid Mining, Energy Shortage, Children Rights & Child Labour and Animal Rights,
Students' inquiry journeys started with community walks, where they identified problems starting within their own communities at first, then communities at large and eventually exploring them at a global level. Thorough research facilitated by the mentors helped students narrow down on their ideas and decide on solutions. Connecting their inquiries to the PYP Transdisciplinary themes and the UN SDGs, these learners formed their central ideas and lines of inquiry. Students exhibited their final presentations as well as their learning journey with the IB community on 5th of May, 2023 making their ideas come to life through various interactive activities such as interviews, surveys as well as model presentations. Agency and responsibility for learning was manifested as multiple perspectives were explored regarding a global issue and also in the variety and nature of work that was on display
The exhibition was well received by the IB community. The visitors were wowed by the range of topics explored, who in return left great reviews praising the students' creativity and in depth analysis of the work undertaken. The spectacular displays including research, infographics, models, prototypes, art work and real time activities left the visitors awe-inspired as they exchanged information with the PYP V students about their topics under exploration. These students who will now transit to the next stages of education in MYP, will continue to fascinate the world with their stimulating ideas for a futuristic and a peaceful world.

PYP I-IV Exhibition
PYP Exhibition is a platform for the students to showcase their creativity in an intellectually stimulating environment. It not only gives the students an opportunity to express themselves in a myriad of different ways, it also boasts the ability to analyse and attempt problem solving.
PYP I-IV Exhibition, 2018 was an expression of students' flair for learning about the world around them. Held at the end of the Academic Year, just before the school closed for Summer Break, it encompassed all the concepts they had studied during the theme Sharing the Planet; and was a culmination of their learning journey throughout the year. The children had worked diligently to conceptualize their models and projects and enthusiastically enunciated it to a huge audience including parents and school management, who had come to attend the event.
From the Diamond Mines of Africa to the Endangered Animals around the world; Amazon rainforests and Pollution in the environment to the minerals found in river beds and bio diversity in Antarctica, PYP Exhibition demonstrated the fantastic research and extraordinary presentation skills of our young learners.
PYP V Exhibition 2018
In the PYP, students learn how to think for themselves and take responsibility for their own learning through an inquiry-led approach.
By developing the attributes of the IB learner profile, students also learn how to demonstrate respect for themselves and others, developing international-mindedness by working with others for a shared purpose and taking positive action for change. PYP exhibition is the culmination of students’ learning experience throughout their five years at PYP.
This Exhibition is held annually at Learning Alliance International to mark the smooth transition of students from PYP to MYP. This year the elements that were focused upon under the Transdisciplinary theme “Sharing the Planet” were Natural Resources, Peace and Conflict, and Rights and Responsibility.
Students showcased their learning through an array of various displays that reflected their thorough research and insight into the chosen topics. PYP V exhibition was a demonstration of students’ hard work and knowledge. Students were well informed about their projects at display and were also able to cite the various sources for their work.
The event was well attended and the parents thoroughly enjoyed the exchange of information with the students.
